The remote control makes no sense at all. Please could someone guide me through tuning the television.

The remote control is full of symbols and is completely unintutive. I need talking through the tuning step by step.

If you are using a video recorder with it just plug in the scart and use the video to change the channels easy cos it will automatically go to the av 1/2 channel then you can can tune the video channels on the recorder that what I am doing at the moment cos I have an older Sony TV that me mum gave me but without a manual I tried to work it out but then common sense took over and I use my video as I have described above

go to the menu bit and then find chanel set up and then keep changing the number till u find the channels trust me its not easy

sell it in the small ads.. and buy a huge lcd... with instruction book.... have you tried to download a manual from sony or tv forums.............
