hey GUYS. . . .this is mostly for you. . . . .um. . . .see, I like this one guy. . .he goes to our church and he told meghan (my best friend) that he likes me. . . .the thing is. . . .he never talks to me. . . .he says he's waiting till I'm older. . but it doesn't feel that way, I mean. . .If he liked me, wouldn't he talk to me? am I just to obsessed with him? help! I mean is it normal for you guys not to talk to girls even when you like them?

and I'm not realy obsessed, I just love him so much.

Listen,
When a guy like a girl....his first priority is not get turned down. In some cases their are guys who are shy. But not in your case. He actually told your best friend that he likes you!
And, you know for a fact that he wants to date you, but when time is right (which in your case is, age...) Nothing is wrong with that. If you like him, you should respect his decision. Maybe it's for the best that he waits until your older.....the question is HOW MUCH OLDER? You shouldn't wait to long....your worth more than that.
If he's not ready for a "deeper relationship" as a boyfriend, then you should give the option of a " relationship" as a friend who is a boy....
You would still get to know him, and their is no age rang for friendship!

Uh??? how old are you? How old is he? Sounds like you all are pretty young. A mature young man/woman will not go to a persons friend and tell them something like that.
Now if you are below the age of 18 and he is older then he definitely needs to back off and shouldn't share his feelings with your friend or you for that matter... because being with you (if you're under age) is ILLEGAL.
You need to take it down a thousand... Chill for more than a minute. Being obsessed with a guy is not attractive. Also,there's a possiblity that if he's noticing that you are "obsessed" with him.. he may see that as a sign of immaturity, which may be a reason for him making that comment to your friend.
On the other hand, you should concern yourself with his level of maturity as well especially if he's not able to tell you how he feels. It's one thing to be shy, but quite another thing to have opportunties where a person can share his/her feelings and they don't. Especially if the other person shows an interest already. It's never a good idea to have to struggle to communicate with a man/woman. If it's difficult for him now.. it will be difficult when and if you become friends.
If he's the too "nervous" to talk to others type.. he needs to get over it with a quickness. Seriously, how will in function in life?
Ask yourself... Do I really want to be with someone who doesn't know how to step up to the plate and communicate their feelings thoughts, or just have a regular normal conversation?
Either way, don't act like your pressed/obsessed to be with him. It's never a pretty sight and not a feature to be desired in either a woman or man.

well I you are young maybe he dont wanna get his A$$ split by your dad. Or maybe he dosent want to lead you on so things get out of hand. I had a guy say he was in love with me for years over 5 years he never told me and I was good friends with his sister and when I asked her why she did not tell me she said cause he said he would beat her up and she was so scared she never even mentioned it,lol so it happenes
