ok, im 17, and i really like this girl, shes what i want, dont need to elaborate. the beef is shes christian and im an atheist. i dont see this as a problem to myself, i love to debate impartially, and refuse to judge people based on things like religion. the question here is: christian girls, do you usually have a problem (or would you) dating an atheist. also, christian parents, would you have a problem with it? i would appreciate any opinion.

Have sex with her and then dumber by asking, "where's you god now?" Just kidding; I only wanted to end the day on a round 500 points.

I'm an agnostic but I don't have a problem with my religious friends because they know I'm a good and moral person and because they are tolerant of my non-religion. If it were an issue, I couldn't be friendly with them. SO it's possible to date her.
However, for longer term relationships, it has to be spelled out in advance how things will proceed. For instance, before marrying and parenting, those things would need to be discussed and agreed upon. But for dating, give it a shot.

A Christian and an atheist is like a donkey matched on the same joke with a cow.
It's rediculous to go into that type of relationship.

If you really like her and she likes you it shouldn't be a problem. I'm a christian and have been for a very long time, my last bf was an atheist, I loved him anyway. In the bible we are taught to love everyone and not to judge them, try to connect with her where she is, ask her about her faith and her life, tell her about you. grow together.

Well if you and the girl you like are ok with it then go for it. It has been done many a times. I say go for it and I give you my best wishes. For if you feelings are true then nothing will stop you and all things will work out for the greater good.
