Evidently Congress agrees with you on the issues of immigration. I am not for the war in Iraq, nor the senseless killings of our soldiers, and collateral damage of another people.

Loosing the war ,then create a new diversion ...its the American way,and it always works

first the Muslims then the gays then the Mexicans, keep the sheeples diverted and nothing has to be solved or addressed.

Americans don't understand their own denial

I expect the hysterical cries of "The Muslims are coming! The Muslims are coming!" Have you learned nothing about the world? Can you not see the obvious manipulations of the U.S.-U.K. intelligence community in these bogus "terror alerts"?

Gee, whadda ya know, it's time for a midterm election and George Bush has a 30% approval rating --- and here come the Muslim hordes because they "hate our freedoms"!

Grow up. The American government spends over $500 billion a year on defence, over $60 billion a year on intelligence. That's more than the rest of the world combined. That sound you hear is not a billion Muslims strapping bombs to their chests. That sound you hear is the American military-intelligence complex prodding the stupid citizens who pay for it. They've got plans for martial law in America, and you people are prattling on about Islamofascism.

The first 9/11 was an inside job. The next one -- probably in the next two months, just in time for the elections -- will also be made in America. Open your eyes and see the real enemy.

It isn't entirely about money..... our culture is being systematically degraded...... our Congress is aiding and abetting the blatant law breaking by illegal aliens. The President and the president before him(clinton) also are aiding and abetting.

The manner in which the illegal alien issue is addressed and concluded will define the future of the United States of America..... Iraq will not, we can leave Iraq.... we live here. Iraq and other terrorist ridden countries can be dealt with, using conventional weapons or nuclear weapons(if need be).

From your comment, I would assume that you would rather have the war against the Islamo-facists fought here.... or maybe you take the track that if the USA would ignore the Muslim fanatics(who have attacked the USA numerous times), then the Muslim fanatics would leave us alone.... Read the Koran/Quran, they will not live in peace.... their ideology commands them to make war against the Jewish and non-Muslim peoples

One major stumbling block to real world peace and freedom for all people is the United Nations. It is too damn corrupt to be of any use to anyone except corrupt figures like Kofi Anan.

well, it may not be the most pressing issue facing out economy, but it should be. You just admitted that the war in iraq is a pointless waste of money in a country far away that is really no threat to us. the illegals are close by, also expensive, and a threat. Since bush was voted in twice, so to speak, and he wanted the war with iraq, and is proud of the fact that he doesnt change his mind or his plans just becuase it was an ill conceived plan to begin with, and has become a full blown disaster now, there isnt much to be done about that, we can and should be doing something to end the attack on our borders and country from the illegals.

The idea is to stop it from becoming the most pressing issue.
You do not live in my county where 72% of our county health dollars is spent on illegals & 68% of all accidents are illegal & uninsured drivers. I do not see it getting in better RETARD!

Iraq will end, all wars do & as a mother of a US Ranger I have faith in our country - something you lack.

I could just say 'we multitask' but it is more basic than that.

My children's school is in LAUSD. LAUSD is failing. My children's elementary school is good, but middle school is coming up with gangs and poor quality education on the horizon. Almost all of the special funding goes to ESL classes and basic services are cut. I learned since the March protests that up to 40% of the LAUSD student body is either illegally here or the child of an illegal immigrant. That makes a solution to the biggest problem we have crystal clear. If the Iraq war ends tomorrow (which would be grand) it won't change my family's life that much. This issue changes my family's life immensely. It is here at home.

Hardly a few Mr Kubrickian ... at the moment we are talking about upwards to 20 million illegals ... and I'll take my gold star now thanks!

I'm puzzled why Pancha is so excited about Paris Hilton being naked?? :)

Yep. The wars will continue but illegal immigration won't. And Illegals are bankrupting our nation than any nation could take us over.

I think it's AN issue that affects our country, and consequently our economy, and as such it needs to be addressed. Why do you feel that the Iraq war is more important than addressing illegal immigration? Are you FROM mexico, kub? Legally?

I believe it is ONE of the hottest issues right now with respect to an election year. On the forum it's a different story! This is a one issue monologue!

Regarding the war, I continue to believe our politicians place more value on global affairs than domestic issues. The spotlight is out again once elections come and go.

Illegal immigration is not a huge issue for the economy. However, it is a HUGE problem for keeping our country secure. THAT's why it is a priority...

I guess I live right nextdoor to you in Stupidworld, right?
