I think Jehovah's Witnesses are the only true Christians I have ever met. They strive to do what's right. They READ and FOLLOW the Bible. That said I should mention I was born and raised a Witness. In December of 2001 I took my stand as a happy, proud and well informed baptised brother. I am so happy to have the chance to learn about Jehovah. Do not get me wrong nobody is perfect. I know there are those who might get a bit too pushy when trying to Witness. Once again, nobody is perfect. I know that their are also those who have posed as Witnesses, even interring into the congregation. That is where we are blessed to have the Elder arrangement. These fine men take time out of their busy schedule to get to know those in the congregation, and sadly at times it is neccasary for them to disfellowship someone. This is an act done in love. Love for the Bible principles all within Jehovah's organisation must uphold. Love for the congregation, this helps ensure that nonChristian attitudes, and hipocrisy in opposition to the Bible are not allowed within the Congregation. And also this is done in love for the one who has hardened their heart. It is a reminder, in much the same way a timeout is. It is to help them see they have turned away from Jehovah, and if they are willing to try and come back to God they will be welcomed back with open arms.
We do not believe in the Trinity. We pray only to Jehovah. We do not believe in unbiblical teachings such as Hellfire or the immortal soul. We do not celebrate pagan holidays such as Christmas and Easter. We do believe 144,000 individuals are to be in heaven with Jehovah, Jesus and the myriads of angels. The rest, who truly are willing to serve Jehovah will live forever on Earth in Paradise.

If anything I have typed sounds strange or curious I suggest you go straight to the "horses' mouth" as the saying goes. Preferably go to your local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. You can usualy find the locations of Kindom Halls in your phone book. If you cannot or do not wish to talk to us directly I suggest you go to our official website at http://www.watchtower.com. Have a nice day.

Jehovah's Witnesses are dedicated devout believers of a totally made up deceptive religion that has been proven to be a false prophet and liar.

Proof: Return of Christ predicted as undeniable prophesy more than 15 times over the last 100 years.

Lie: That they knew original languages of scripture and did their own Bible translation in creating their version of the Bible. The person claiming the knowledge was sued for fraud, was brought to court and was proved to not know the first word or any word of Hebrew that he claimed to have translated. Same court later ruled that they had no jurisdiction in the case, but that does not change the fact of the lie.

Their lies and twisted doctrine are many.

Many of the Jehovah's Witnesses are sincere people serving God and wanting to do good, not knowing that they have been deceived. Others among them know, and have joined in the deception.

I would not ask others about their opinion about JW because they'll never say a good thing. It's like asking a KKK white man to say what he thinks about a black man.

Go and see for yourself. Just look for a local kingdom hall. No obligations. You don't like it, don't continue. No one will chase you around with literature and a Bible.

Isaiah 43:10 “YOU are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “even my servant whom I have chosen, in order that YOU may know and have faith in me, and that YOU may understand that I am the same One. Before me there was no God formed, and after me there continued to be none.

While I don't hate them, I think that they are extremely misguided, as most religions tend to do to their followers. But when the flock goes astray, whom do you blame? The sheep, or the shepard?
On one hand, the name Jehovah's Witnesses, was actually the Russellites, because they were following Russell, who started the Russellites when he was only 18 yrs. old, and didn't have a full understanding himself.
They are Protestants, and protestants came away from the Catholics, because they didn't agree with their teachings or worldviews. Martin Luther started that. But some Protestants, kept some of the same teachings of the Catholic church. The Jehovah's Witnesses are just such a group. They've kept the concept of separate gods. As in, Jesus is not God, but only Gods son. They think that He is a lesser god in heaven, just like the Catholics, who believe in the trinity or triune God. They believe in shunning or discommunication of people who don't believe as they do, even if it is their own family. That's not too much different than the Spanish Inquisitions, if people didn't choose Catholocism.
Then, they honestly think that someone is going to invite them into their homes to talk to them about their views, when they don't even use the King James Version, but use their own cut up version of the bible? Their new world translations are full of small g god's and goddesses, which they seem to think inhabit heaven! There are NO gods beside me, is what God said. They think that Jesus used to be archangel, Michael. The Angel of war. I don't think they even believe in the virgin birth, because they don't believe that Jesus is Lord God Almighty, just His son. Anywhere you see a small g god in the bible, it is referring to idols that the Egyptians used to worship. They think that God is sharing heaven with these small g gods and not just the angels, that are sons of god too, because He made them too. I obviously don't share their views, and most of their beliefs to me are blasphemy and therefore, quite offensive, but that's how I take it. I think that they need to get away from them, before they lose their very souls. All of my friends that used to be JW's are out of it, but they have family members still there. I view it as a grossly misguided cult. But then again, I view any religion that believes without question the views of a mere man, as a paganistic based cult.
I am a Pentacostal Christian-Protestant Religion.

The so called religion is based on deception right from its founder and this is a proven fact.He took the bible and interpreted it for his own ends and decieved people...However God gave everyone FREE WILL so they are entitled to follow. I allow them the Free Will to worship their way ..but if you have a different way of worship, according to them you are a sinner and God should smite you down.

I believe it is an ego trip.....because they believe that 144thousand will be saved(excuse me if my numbers are wrong)but it is a certain amount anyway....through the years there must have been an awful lot more members than that ....so have they all been infighting with each other so that they can be saved as an individual....not much of a religion eh...

I was always taught that God loved everyone... each one of us....but they believe God loves only them, in my mind that is very very wrong

They dont believe and actually frown on spiritualism but they want to be saved..how else can you be saved when you die...other than in spirit.

Some of the JW's i've met were real hypocrits. However they have the basic moral values which i would consider to be good, such as caring for fellow man and killing is wrong etc etc. I think any group of people who promote those values have the right idea.

The only real impression I have is from some friends who used to be JW. They say JWs are seriously messed up.

I don't know any current believers or enough about all their philosophies, so I can't truly form my own opinion, except that I don't believe in God, so they don't have that going for them.

I don't have much of an opinion of them. I disagree with their teaching and have told them so.

The people who come to the door have always been very polite and seem to be a nice group of individuals.

I would hope that one day they will see the lies that they have been forced to learn for what they are.
