If you are talking American Society I have an opinion of several things:
1) We took corporal punishment away from the parents and schools.
2) No one (in General) enforces the use of manners anymore. Even simple yes mam, no mam, yes sir, no sir is not in use.
3) We replaced all the jobs that our young men and women could do with machines or laws. IE: Full service gas stations, laborers etc... So they are not given the tools to learn society's skills until they are already into mainstream society.
4) This goes with #1 but we make laws to raise kids instead of raising them ourselves.
5) We let the ACLU get too involved in our daily lives. The minority (not race) does not always need to win. The ACLU if you took time to read their original charter is a communist based organization. A society where everyone is supposed to believe the same things is their goal.
6) School shootings - If I am going to get charged with assault for getting into a fist fight, I might as well hurt you so the punishment is worth it. We do not allow kids, especially boys from 5 grade to 9th grade learn how to deal with life. We punish them with adult laws instead of detention or something else. Again we have made laws raise our children.
7) Lawsuits too damn many for BS stuff.
OK, I will quit for now, but we make our own beds and we will lie in them.

lack of deepest duty. This has extra about an entitlement mentality: the theory that all and varied is entitled to a huge type of reward with no need earned them. One mandatory step in the route of fixing it really is to get the people who're perpetuating this falsehood out of workplace. vote casting can do this. yet another step is to tutor people about how the liberal media are feeding this pretend theory.

Same thing that always has been. We're idiots.
It's just that more smart people can be heard now, and then when we compare to them we think society has decayed. Whatever happened to the values of humanity? They were never there.

Because the President and both houses of our government are republican. Greed and lies are the order of the day. People see where their elected officials are screwing the taxpayers every chance they get. The people start asking where their share of the BILLIONS of wasted taxpayer money is going and why isn't it going into their pocket. Washington today is full of nothing but a bunch of PROSTITUTES plain and simple. Tax breaks for the RICH and another screwing for the MIDDLE CLASS. I know one thing, the youth of today better get off their dead ***'s and fight for a future because Bush and his gang of thieves are selling your future down the drain.

people today care more about how they look or what they wear rather than caring about more important issues like poverty, war, and other important things as well. most women would rather spend that extra $50 on make up or clothes than to donating it to people who are in need of money like people in africa, tsunami, earth quakes, and what about cancer? yes cancer. the research for cancer and medications need money as well! but who is willing to give up "looking pretty" to saving other people in the world? sometimes i wonder if people care about the poor children who are 5 or 6 in africa and are suffering frm HIV/AIDS. its not their fault they are infected but it is part of our duty as human beings to do the best we can to support them and let them have a better life. to tell you the truth, we americans are possibly the luckiest people in the world, our country is a free country (well more like that before), we have great natural reasources like oil, fruits, and minerals like that but think about people everywhere else? they are not as fortunate, its our duty as fornuante people to do our best and give other people what we got; a better life.

people use way too much makeup.
the girls hair is too short.
guys hair is too long.
eveyone's going to such lengths to be 'different' and 'beautiful' that they don't relize they don't have to be way out there/catch EVERYONES attention to be noticed and liked...
