Well first of all you have to find a girl that you really like then tell her what you did and if she still likes you after you told her that then all you have to do is just let go of your past. Don't do what ever it was that you did anymore and more importly forgive yourself and forget. Its the best way for you to move on and have a somewhat and possibly very good relationship.

Look we all have skeletons in our closets. If she is a real good girlfriend she would see past it, UNLESS you are a serial killer . Look I had a policy NOT to date someone that was in jail or had been. Because they did something bad to get in there. Well I was seeing this GREAT guy we dated for years. Then he disappeared. He called me 2 months later and I let him have it. I wanted to know why he stopped calling me. He was in jail for hit and run.(the guy lived) I felt stupid because I knew that he was not a bad guy but that is what I told him and he respected me enough to NOT call me. To make a long story short (sorry for rattling on) We are married now. Like I said when you find the right one she will not even bat an eye about your past. SO good luck hon.

Depending on what you are on probation for..

But really, just be completely honest from the beginning. Don't hide it, but don't make it the pinnacle of your existence, either.. Show that you are trustworthy and not likely to commit another offense and just trying to get a fresh start on life.

And, good luck! Many women are very forgiving of their partner's past..

Well first you need to get to know her and if she is someone you are interested in and she feels the same then you need to be honest with her. Hopefully your on probation for something not too serious but yet are serious about a relationship. Good luck!

It depends on what you're on probation for. Some things would be harder to overlook than others. I have a friend who's on probation, but it's for something minor and if we were introduced through friends who I trusted, I wouldn't necessarily count him out because of that.

well, as long as you are sorry for what ever it is that you did, and it will not ever come back and happen again, then just explain things to her, and try not to let it get in the way. If she likes you, she can look past the probation as long as you don't repeat and end up getting locked away.

a good relationship is built on trust. forgive yourself is the first step. if you hurt someone apologize and ask their forgiveness and move on. you need to tell the person about your past, so ghost don't come back to haunt you. but remember honesty is the best policy. if the person loves you she will love you anyway, nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes. if you meet a person that cannot live with what you have done it's not the right person anyway, so the relationship will not last. always be yourself, except yourself and others will too.

Our past is what helps make us who we are. Learning and growing from our past experiences. Just be up front and honest. If you have honestly changed then your current lifestyle will show any woman that you are on the right track. We all have a past. Don't regret what has helped define who you are today, learn from it. Which it seems you have. Good Luck and God Bless!

I would first take care of the situation you are in. Before you can move forward you need to finish your past. Good girls are hard to come by and when they do, you want to make sure you can prove you're a changed man.
