She will let you pet her but then outta no where she walks just a few inches out of reach then turns her back to you.
I let a stray in my house to eat his name is Mr.Miaggi and he is so friendly it is unreal. He purrs, drools, rubs against you, throws himself down on your feet, ect.
Are girl kitty's more aloof than boy kitty's?
And why doesn't Lucky play with Miaggi?
She just looks at him and does nothing else.

Her personlity is one of a princess. I have a cat who I believe thinks she is a dog. She fetches plastic hair ties you wear in your hair, brings them back and waits for you to throw them again. She lays on her back with all fours sticking up and waits for her tummy to be rubbed. Cats a peculiar animals. Mine sometimes will let you pet her, then turn around and bite your hand or run after your feet and attack your leg. Strange.

No, females aren't friendlier then males....it depends on the cat. People say that cats don't understand, but in reality they do!
I have 2 cats a neutered male and a 2 yr old female, they are both friendly and loving. I would suggest that maybe the stray is friendly as he was homeless and they know that you are caring and food worthy. If I ever introduced a new cat into my home, I would let both cats have total run of the house, and I would go shopping. When I would get home...they would be getting along.
I hope this helps you.

tee hee. Well i really don't think you can do anything about it. I mean, animals are just like people. If they don't want to be with someone, do you think they'd be licking and hugging each other?
Cats have opinions too and I don't think that Lucky is as crazy to be with Miagga as you are

p. s.
most cats are independent, you can't always trust cats. They are very emotional animals i guess. The cat I take care of runs like from o miles per hour to 20 or 30 just if some one drops a cup or makes the slightest noise. Gees, cats for ya!! :)

you just have to be patient with her. Don't chase her, let her give you the honor of petting her. lol. Cats are very independent and very prideful. If they feel like being petted, they will come to you. Try giving her treats. Don't pet her immediately, give her treats, show her what friendliness is then after a while try to pet her. As for her relationship with your boy cat, cats usually don't like other cats, so their relationship might develop through time. Don't force her into anything and be patient. She'll come around.

She's probably just jealous. Also cats are weird like that. You'll be peting them on second and outta no where they'll attack you. It's instinct. They don't want to get "too comfortable" in case they gotta kick some booty. I don't think the way cats act has anything to do with their sex. I think it's more just the personality of the cat. You should be happy she is just ignoring him and not killing him. Just give them time. :)

Every boy kitty has I've met has been just like Mr. Miaggi to me. I think girl kitties are little brats, but there so fun because they're such princesses. You can't help but laugh at just how beautiful they really think they are.

Aren't cats fun! Just as varied in their personalities as human beings.

Even harder to figure out as they can't talk to us so we might be better able to figure them out.

I do feel that girl cats can be brattier than the boys however. As women we have that reputation too.
