I used to drink energy drinks every day too. Sometimes I would drink two. I had a baby that didn't sleep all through the night until he was almost a year old. I had 3 other kids to look after so I drank them. They kept me awake during the day and it was great. Only problem I found was the lack of sleep and the caffeine made my heart beat funny after a while. I went to the doctor and he said I needed to get off the caffeine and get some sleep. Now I only use it when I have to. Like right now they gave me seizure medication that makes me sleepy so I use it to function during the day and then I can sleep at night.

I think Gatoraide might be O.K., but it has a lot of salt in it. Try laying off all coffee, tea, alcohol, and caffeinated drinks for about a month, and drink at least your weight (in ounces) of Kool-aid or fruit juice (no sugar added) every day. I think you're dehydrated, by your description, and if you'll try this (honestly; no fudging) you'll lose weight (if over) and feel better. I started doing the same many moons ago, and I have not gotten sick since!

energy drinks as a rule will not harm u when used in moderation.
some of the ingredients are very similar to those used in illegal substances (Ephedra) many have not been proven to be safe.
it is your choice.. but i would find out why your energy is low in the first place and deal with that issue.

Like most things.. in moderation they are not bad for you at all. Just limit the amount you have, plus the amount of caffiene drinks you have with them. They can be rough on your heart if you over do it. But in moderation they can help in weight loss and appetite control.

energy drinks are unhealthy. They rot ur teeth and wreck the enamel on them, which isnt good, if you decide to keep drinking them.. you should rinse your mouth out with water to get some of that bad stuff out.... thats all i can say..

well i think energy are just to boost up your energy but there are side effect to them in the long run but its okay to drink them every now and then

there not good for you ....i think theres more cons ....cause the only thing u get out of it thats good is energy for a while...after that u could get upset stomach,headaches,dizziness, its reallly not good for you plus most of the time they taste nasty. sooo i wouldnt do it that much.

energy drinks, they don't actually boost up your energy, it's just the name energy drink, makes you think it boost your energy, those drinks aren't good for your body. they do more harm in the long run than good.

No, they are not healthy for you. Fruits and veggies will give you more energy, and are much better for you.
