This is an answer I have contributed to another querent, verbatim, I do suggest you try this, but see your doctor first.DO NOT USE APPETITE SUPPRESSANTS EXCEPT ON ADVICE OF A REGISTERED MEDICAL PRACTITIONER.(I am learned in Nutrition because I am a Chef, but I am not a registered medical practitioner)
A lot of people will advocate exercise, but you need to walk a lot of miles/play innumerable rounds of golf/swim/shag/play cricket/football or shin up and down a multiplicity of poles to lose a gram.
You will need to modify your diet. Read on, it is not all bad.
For your main meal of the day, eat fish once per week, red meat once per week, and white meat once per week. This will ensure you get enough haem iron, calcium and the proteins that are not available from vegetables, for your bodies' needs.
For the other main meals, eat vegetarian. Not nut cutlets and overboiled cabbage. Investigate the cuisine of the Punjab and other areas within the Indian sub-continent. You will find the cuisine tasty, filling and nourishing.
It goes without saying that you should do your own cooking, and that means a hob, oven and pots and pans, not a microwave. If you feel that you can't cook, buy Ceserani and Kinton, and teach yourself (Ceserani and Kinton is a textbook used a lot in UK cooking colleges, but it will teach you to cook without the need for a teacher).
For other meals. Breakfast can be boxed cereals, porage, or toast and butter. (yes, butter. We all need fats and butter tastes good. Use Kerrygold (Irish) or Anchor (New Zealand) - I find these the purest and least salty). If you like, once per week, have a traditional English/Scots/Welsh/Ulster/Rep... of Ireland breakfast, but grill your bacon and sausages, and cook your mushrooms in sunflower oil, rather than lard. ( Ok for those from the Emerald Isle, fry your farls and soda bread in lard - a little of what you fancy etc. I'm half Irish and I make my own soda farls, but I remember Inglis and Ormo with much affection).
Sandwiches - try using malted bread with whatever filling you like. Malted bread is very filling and excellent for the bowels.
Food quality. Buy your meat from a local independent butcher - it is generally leaner and of better quality from that from a supermarket. Buy bread from a local bakery, and ensure it is not baked by the Chorleywood Process, or even worse, the Milton Keynes process.
Above all, AVOID FAST FOODS. You will probably be ok with the odd fish and chips, but the burger, pizza and chicken emporiums - Donalds Fried Chicken, MacKentuck Pizzas and O'Domhut's burgers should be avoided. You need not do without burgers - make your own, using best minced (ground) beef. Obtain recipes from a German source, if you can. Make your own, dont wimp(y) out. But don't stick them in a bun, eat them au naturale.
Let me summarise. 3 meaty/fishy main meals, 4 veggie. Breakfasts - porage, cereal or toast. Snacks - malted bread sandwiches. Butter on your toast if you like. Fish and Chips once weekly, or a cooked breakfast. Grill rather than fry.
The aim of this regime is to enable you to lose weight over a long period. If you lose weight quickly, you will rapidly put it on again. Also, many diets are counterproductive inasmuch that you have to eat so much rabbit food or horrible substitute drinks that you are rapidly discouraged from perservering. A lot of diets also restrict variety of foods, this will mean that you will rapidly become short of some essential vitamins and nutrients. Many diets eschew fats, but fats are vital when you are trying to lose weight (this may seem paradoxical, but fats are the factor that lead to satiety in a meal. Less fats, more snacking). The body will also change proteins and carbohydrates to fat (not fats), so eating lean steak 7 days a week will not cause a loss of weight.
You could lose about 4-7 lbs in a period of 2 months, then about 1lb per week thereafter. You should, however, before commencing a diet, or plan of changing eating habits, have a talk with your GP (family doctor). Print this off and show him/her it if you like.

Real Hoodia Gordonii is one of the most effective appetite suppressants I've experienced. There is a lot of fake hoodia out there. Check the report (below) for those that were tested.
Hoodia-Pure is a pure hoodia product, that tested the highest. If you want a combination metabolism enhancer/Hoodia Product, Lipodrene tested best.

Mustard is a secret bulge-buster. The idea boosts your metabolism and raises natural ephadrine, the hormone that burns fat. According to Jeya Henry, professor of human nutrition from Oxford Brookes University, just a tablespoon within your food can reduce a flabby waist by 20 %!

Go bland. Plain, easy, unseasoned food such as smoked chicken, plain rice and a naked baked potato are nutritious however your palette will tire of these quickly, unlike salty moreish prepared food, which keeps you snacking and piling within the pounds.

Fatty coconut milk: Believe it or not, it contains good fats which have been important for keeping your metabolic rate ticking. One meal, like a new delicious Thai green curry, can actually increase your metabolism by 5 %, says research published in the particular International Journal of Obesity.

People who plan their weekly meals will be more successful at losing weight than those who don’t. Plan your dishes to incorporate healthy carbs such as fairly sweet potato and wholegrain pasta, vegetables and lean proteins, buy all of the ingredients in advance and don’t be tempted to eat out or order in.

I lost 55 pounds by eating low-carb... and I was never hungry, not one second!! Food is the best appetite suppressant, as long as you eat the right things.
