I have no idea, maybe they should dust off their bibles. They should try to help the homosexuals see the error of their ways, but not accept their lifestyle choice.

People should accept gays into a community, just as they do any other group of people.
I don't know what ethnic, religious,race U are, but if U were to go to a community to buy a house or whatever, would you want to be turned away because of one of the above?
We're suppose to be a tolerant society & to have progressed past some taboo's & stupid racism, but when we still have people like you asking these questions I guess we still have to educate some of you all.
I have friends from all walks of life & yes some are gay & they pose no threat to anyone, but they still get a few biggots who can't move past their predijuces.
There is only one absolute type of person, that I would not want living near me with children around & that is a pedofile, but they too are in our communities & we have to be very dilligent with talking to kids,because if you know who they are, then you have a better chance of protecting your kids.We all would probably like to see them locked up for ever, but our justice system is not prepared for this, as it too needs an overall on this issue.
Gays in the community are not a problem, but people who make it an issue are the problem.

Aside from the fact that AIDS is spreading like wildfire through the gay community, I think people accept them because as a rule, they're very clean, neat, orderly, take pride in themselves (as far as their appearance) and their homes, and are usually very friendly and well-mannered. Honestly, I'd love to have some gay neighbors instead of the trash who lives around me now. At least the neighborhood wouldn't go to pot!

Gay people are human beings, just like you and me. They should not be discriminated against just because their sexuality is different. I don't have to agree with or like their sexual preferences. As a Christian I do have to love them and treat them with the same dignity and respect I expect from them.

Majority of people do not mind. Even homophobes don't mind as long as they leave them alone. They are not hurting you. Why do you feel that it is your choice on where they live? Reminds me of Hitler a little.

its just the way our society is now... things have changed alot since i was a kid... but its like anything else..get use to it ,, its part of life....
