I had a bartender serve me a drink once that had Captain Morgans Spiced Rum, Malibu Rum, Pineapple juice and maybe something else in it. She called it a spicy rum punch.....anyone have any similar recipes you wouldn't mind sharing?

Ainsley's Mum's Caribbean Rum Pu-Punch

I have watched my mum make this a thousand times. If you can't find canned mango pulp whiz a 400g (14 oz) can of mango pieces in the liquidizer until smooth. You can leave out the rum for a non-alcoholic punch if you wish.

Makes 2 x 1.75 litre (3 pint) jugs, enough for about 16 glasses

175g (6 oz) granulated sugar
175ml (6 fl oz) boiling water
juice of 4 limes and 4 lemons
1 teaspoon angostura bitters
400ml (14 fl oz) canned mango pulp
150ml (5 fl oz) strawberry syrup (optional)
250-300ml (8-10 fl oz) white rum (remember - more rum=more dancing)
1 litre (1 ¾ pints) tropical fruit juice
1 litre (1 ¾ pints) lemonade or sparkling mineral water
plenty of ice
quartered lime and orange slices to decorate

Stir the sugar and water together until the sugar has dissolved. Leave to go cold.
Mix the sugar syrup with the lime juice, lemon juice, angostura bitters, mango pulp, strawberry syrup (if using), and rum (if using) and stir together until well mixed. This can now be set aside and chilled until just before you are ready to serve.
Stir in the fruit juice and lemonade and serve over ice cubes, decorated with lime and orange slices.

After reading your question I started craving a Hurricane. One of my favorites!

1 1/2 oz Dark rum (Meyer's)
1 1/2 oz Light rum (Bacardi)
2 oz Orange juice
2 oz Pineapple juice
1 1/2 tsp Grenadine
1/2 tsp Sugar
1 oz Bacardi 151 proof rum
2 Cherries
1 chunk Pineapple
1 cube Sugar
Mixing instructions:
Pour dark rum, light rum, juices, and grenadine over ice into a pilsner/parfait glass. Add the half spoon of sugar, stir slightly, and top with high octane 151 rum and cherries/pineapple. Add the optional sugar cube & light it up!

Best served with two straws and slammed between very close friends/lovers. Substitute Malibu or spiced rums for any of the three listed for a personalized ultimate hurricane.

Try mixing Bacardi (gold, light, 151, whichever you like best) with apple juice and Raspberry puckers. I call it a B.R.A. It; is good!
