You sound like you've got a problem!
Don't worry about those skinny girls. The only person you have to worry about is you. Go out and walk: That's about the easiest thing you can do to rev your body up so the extra weight will drop off.
Don't look at the magazine and television ads: They very often present unhealthy and unrealistic images.
Keep on drinking the water: That's good for you. However, the pop isn't: Pop tends to be loaded with sugar, though it's often disguised. Instead, get fruit juice and sports drinks.
Get fruits and vegetables that you can eat for snacks. And try eating small meals more often during the day. That way your blood sugar levels won't be going nuts and making you feel sick.
Get whole grain breads: Those are actually very tasty, as well as better for you than the white breads.
Since you say self-esteem is a problem- and I can see how: I was the kid that always got picked on too- Get into a support group. I understand Weight Watchers is good.
Good luck! I'll be cheering for you!

Beauty and how you look are only details when it comes to thinking about what a complete person is. A person has feelings, makes decisions, personality, likes and dislikes, interests, hobbies, and goals. Would you ever think to compare yourself to these girls in all of these categories? It wouldn't even make sense to compare yourself when you start thinking about it, because everyone is different in their own way. What is important is that those details that make up who you are, are what you are striving to be best. Beauty and looks are simply a genetic chance. Accept that you can't change the chance that some people are born with high metabolisms, naturally skinny or beauitful, or that you are born with larger genes or whatever the case is. Some people are also born with diabetes, webbed feet, or severe mental problems. Thank god for the gifts he gave you, and do what you can with them. For inspiration, try taking walks. I go on a walk for at least 30 minutes about 5 times a week. I use this time to think about my life and what goals i want to accomplish and how I'm doing. After a few days you will not only crave the walk for the exercise because your body feels good, but you will also crave the mental time it gives you. Force yourself to only think positive thoughts during this time, and think of some goals. It could be as simple as cleaning your room, cooking dinner, goign to the library and getting some books, or meeting up with some friends. I guarantee you will feel better the moment you accomplish just one little goal. Then make more goals each and every day, and accomplish them. You will see that you are worthy of living a happy life, and say f*ck off to the standards that some humans put on beauty. After all, beauty is only a genetic chance. The rest of YOU,and what you do with your life ISN'T. Be all that you can be, and I think you will have plenty you want to show off!

You may want to invest in a copy of Oprah Winfrey's "Make the Connection." It's a book about dieting, but it goes deeper than that. It gets into Oprah's long-standing struggle with diet and how she had bad eating habits and didn't even know it (she ate when she was depressed, she ate when she was stressed, she ate when she was bored, etc.) The moral to the story is that she "made the connection" and realized how to get rid of her bad habits and be a happier, healthier person.
As for the diet, I can help you out with that. Here are a few tips:
(1) Eat breakfast every day within 90 minutes of waking up -- people who don't are 450% more likely to be overweight.
(2) Try eating six small meals a day instead of three larger meals. It helps keep your metabolism running at a higher level.
(3) Cut back on "bad for you" stuff like soft drinks, fruit drinks that are not 100% juice, fast food, junk food, refined flour/sugar, and saturated fat as much as possible: EXCEPTION: Chocolate is actually good for you when eaten in moderation, so a couple of pieces a day is OK.
(4) Build your diet more around weight-loss friendly foods like nuts of any kind, beans/legumes, green veggies, lowfat dairy products, eggs, lean meats (especially fish and poultry), whole grain breads/cereals/pasta, and fresh fruit (any type of berries are the best).
(5) Take one tablespoonful of olive oil three times a day, preferably before meals -- Olive oil is high in monounsaturated fat, which is VERY good for you, and it is also a natural appetite suppressant.
(6) Try to get at least 25 grams of fiber into your diet every day. Fiber fills you up and helps your body dispose of all that "bad" fat in your diet.
(7) Drink lots of water, and for a health and weight loss boost, drink green tea or black pekoe tea -- they're high in antioxidants and aid in weight loss. If you can't stand the taste, add some Splenda. It's the best sweetener out there because it's derived from sugar but doesn't have all the extra calories.
(8) Forget rules 1 through 7 for half a day, once a week. You decide when, but when you have your "free time" you're allowed to eat anything you want -- just don't stuff.
(9) Do some type of exercise every day, even if it's just a 15-minute walk. Try to work up over time, but when you get to the point where you're doing serious cardio or aerobics, don't do more than 40 minutes a day -- you'll burn muscle instead of fat if you go too long, and you don't want that.
(10) Remember, God doesn't make junk. He loves you whether you're a Size 3 or a Size 30.
Good luck!

Pay special attention to the paragraph about people who want to lose weight. MAke sure you tell yourself EVERY day "I'm beautiful" You know society has made so many women AND men think they are not and can not possibly be beautiful, so untrue I've seen alot of Big Beautiful (BBW) Models, you no longer have to be a size 3, it's ok to be a size 16 or 20 but be a HEALTHY (mind and body) size. GOOD LUCK sweety hope the link helps it did for me!!!

Ignore them. If you are going to lose weight, do it because you want to, not because you want to look like one of those girls outside your building. You are beautiful no matter what people say.
If you do want to lose weight,
Cut out all junk food (candy, chips, fried foods, soda). Drink a lot of water. Instead of eating three times a day, eat six small meals a day (something small every four hours, like a small salad or fruit). The small meals will speed up your metabolism. Try to drink at least 64oz (8 cups) of water every day.
You don't need to go to a gym to lose weight. The best exercise is just walking around for 30 minutes every day.
And don't be upset about the weight not coming off as fast as you would like it to. Remember sweety, the weight wasn't put on overnight, so you can't expect it to come off over night. Aim to lose about 2 pounds per week.
Good luck.

Ok baby girl, First off, you are beautiful, no matter what. ALWAYS smile. I know this may be hard, but beauty does come from the inside. Secondly, find you a phsician that will prescribe Bontril Sr 105 mg. I can say this because I used it with awesome results, as did several of my friends, I can tell you that I had tried all kinds of stuff, and had difficulty losing the weight, but this worked. It is an appetite suppressant, but also boosts your energy. It is prescription, and you do need to be monitored while on it, so don't go to some quack! Please understand, I am not telling you that being heavy makes you unnatractive, but it is not healthy for you. Your heart has to work way harder. The most important thing is been good to your body. You have to live with it for the rest of your life! Good luck!

Reading your ? made me feel so sad! Let me tell you, I just lost 40lbs and I was feeling pretty bad about myself before I lost weight... and I knew that I had been gaining but it was like I couldnt stop it and didnt even have the energy to... but then one day I was like thats it I am going to do this... so I started getting up early and walking... and then adding a little bit of jogging when I could... then I joined the gym and weight watchers but that was becasue I could afford it... I suggest you start walking, you will see a difference and start feeling better... and make good decisions when you eat... those 100 cal pks are great and are not as bad as having a sleeve of cookies but you still get to eat cookies... and add veggies and fruit into your diet... you can eat things you want to but be realistic, ask yourself it its worth it to put the crapy food into your system when you are woking hard to make better decisions and walk.... Good luck hun, I am sure you can do it!

Hi
I know what you mean but do not loose hope instead try this plan so here goes,
If you are serious about losing weight, the calories in the food you eat should be less than the energy you use. You will have to increase your metabolic rate now, and plan your diet carefully.
