Knowing my luck, noone out there is going to know the answer to this question BUT I figured I'd ask anyway.

I have had 4 different sets of Cockatiels set up with Nestboxes to breed for quite some time now BUT none of them have done anything. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this may be happening or what I may be doing wrong?

Please advise!

BIrds need enough food and enough daylight to come into breeding condition. Make sure they are getting a minimum of 16 hours of daylight, Use artificial light if you have to, perhaps even full spectrum lights.
Make sure they have all the great food they can eat. Plenty of green leafy vegs, a small amount of fruit, hardboiled eggs (don't leave them in the cage long enough to spoil) and a good well balanced diet. Pelleted diets are usually better than seed, especially Roudybush.

Make sure your birds are old enough. They should be 18 months old to begin breeding. AMke sure they are healthy and in good condition, since breeding takes a lot out of them.

Make sure you use cockatiel sized nest boxes and that their cages are HUGE. I used 4' x 4' x 4' cages to breed in.

If everything is right and still no luck, try getting a proven pair, and breed an experienced bird to a "virgin" bird.

If you're certain of their genders, it could be just a matter of time. How old are the cockatiels? Sometimes they won't breed if they're too young. These are the only factors I know of that could be involved, other than having four sets of sterile cockatiels on your hands (which is unlikely).

Do you have them paired off, or all in the same cage? Anyway, I know I didn't really answer your question, but it lacked details.

Could be the wrong time of year, could be insufficent space for them to have chicks, could be temperature, could be diet.

Raised 'Tiels in family pet shop from 1968 to 1983, and right now I've got two males, with 2 females on order with a much larger cage
