No, I've hated people that were simply undesirable people. I did not want to be like them or envy them, they were just nasty people.

To me, hate is an intense dislike towards a person based on who that person is and what that person does. It may stem from envy in some instances, but not always.

I think definitely one can hate w/o jealousy. I hate child molesters and I definitely am not jealous.

To me, hate is a reaction to something utterly abominable. I don't think I could ever be jealous of something I hate.
