Can anybody tell me Pluto the dog's name in the debut film? According to others, it's NOT the answer easily found through online research! Help. It's a trivia contest that I need to find the answer to by 4:20 PM Eastern time.

The answer to the trivia contest question was “no name.” Pluto started off as a no-name bloodhound. Then he was Rover. Then Pluto. Thanks everyone!

ROVER!!!
Mickey's faithful pet dog Pluto starred in 48 of his own cartoons, but also appeared along with Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck in many of their cartoons. Pluto was created as an actual dog character, with no speaking voice, as opposed to Goofy, who was created as a human character. The dog who would eventually evolve into Pluto made his debut as a bloodhound in the Mickey Mouse cartoon "The Chain Gang" in 1930. Later that year he appeared as Minnie Mouse's dog, Rover, in "The Picnic," and the following year finally became Mickey's dog Pluto in "The Moose Hunt." Favorite sayings: "Grrr ..." "Snort!" "Sniff, sniff, sniff ..." "Bark! Bark!"

Pluto first appeared in the 1930 Mickey Mouse cartoon "The Chain Gang" as a bloodhound on the trail of escaped prisoner Mickey Mouse. The bloodhound character was adapted into Minnie Mouse's dog Rover. His name was later changed to Pluto and his owner to Mickey Mouse, making him Mickey's best pal.

no longer except you intend on casting him as a Disney character. Why no longer translate 'SMALL' into eastern and bypass with that? ?? ? OH, I very almost forgot to show the Pluto isn't a planet the two.
