you probably are good looking with an edge to your look. i knew a guy that was gorgeous, but he didn't smile unless you were talking to him. he intimidated girls with his look. but girls thought he was so good looking. don't worry about it. if you have a great personality, your set. look for the girl who acknowledges that, and sees past the serious, edgy look. (even when your smiling!) keep smiling and be happy with your looks!

no kidding? I'm always being told that I look pissed off, evernthough I never am. I'm attractive too, and I get told that alot too. People might just be trying to figure you out. Some people hate not knowing what everyone is thinking (facial expressions).
Are you outgoing? Sometimes your personality can make you more attractive than you are- I'm not saying you're not. You just have to keep asking lots of people, because you'll probably never get a no-bullsh!t answer.

YES!!! Just look at Adrian Brody (the Pianist) He is sooo hot to me, yet he's got that gawky, scrawny look to him. If women are staring at you then you better act on it fast and get busy!! People tell me that I always look mad too, when I am really not, you are probably usually deep into your own thoughts all the time like me.
