The CKP sensor.remove the plastic cover on top the motor 5mm allen wrench four bolts. remove the air intake boot between the air flow meter and the throttle chamber two hose clamps and pull off the valve cover hose by hand no clamp squeezing necessary. Car is sitting on level hard ground paved. Get out old trusty drop light place under the heater hoses on the drs. side of the cyl head near the trans engine block split (rear of bell housing) Now look straight down between the throttle chamber and engine to the ground What you seek has a gold color 10mm bolt holding a black colored sensor it to the back of the engine block and rather large electrical connector Look close push the green into the connector with one index finger and use three remaining to pull on the wires connector slips out! 1/4 drive 10mm socket and exactly 6" from ratchet handle to socket is best loosen the bolt drop it on the floor under the car and use slip joint pliers looking down as above to snatch twist and pull the sensor out to the rear of the car. Install in reverse order as the service manual says "I don't know Manual" There was an engine sensor campaign Recall for these parts what are you doing! take and get it fixed free! cry and ***** a bit your Nissan dealer we and they already know those sensors leak oil into the plug. Which must be cleaned out with brake cleaner prior to pushing that green and black plug back on.
