WIC! Wic gives away car seats that are appropriate for the age/weight/height of your child. look in the phonebook for your local program.

Not sure where u are located at, but call your local Department of Job and Family Services and they can tell you if there are any programs in your area that provide free seats. Check with your car insurance company too. Some help with that.

Sometimes local hospitals give them away..call around and ask for the socila services office..
