But as god he is manifesting himself differently to each culture as a way for them to understand better.

I believe that we are all worshipping the same God-- not because God chooses to manifest his/herself differently to each culture, but because each culture imposes their own idea and image of what God should be into their man-made religions. Here is a particularly relavent quote by Voltaire:

"God created man in his/her image. Than man returned the favor."

If we could all agree on this everyone would be a lot happier, LOL. But there are too many religions that think theirs is the only RIGHT way for that to ever happen. Oh well, that's just want things are supposed to be!

Blessings and Light!

Hey frisky !
You have a wide selection to find GOD and they all are just fine and good.
Except the Muslim god who is Allah.
That religion stemmed from the Roman military and subservience to the roman gods, using Christian and Jewish writings and roman laws to worship Satan as their god. (500+- AD)
That is what started the crusades. Stomp out Satan.
All of their ceremonies seem to require assuming a fetal form and jerking the body about while reciting the (Koran) Quran.
They also gather in large numbers where mass hysteria takes over and years of practice joining in this form of indoctrination can turn into violence (snap!)
Just like the riots here in the USA after football, basketball or hockey games.
Their individual family lives are no different from the architectural art, of worship ,to the pagan gods.
This is why religion stinks. Forget the discrimination of women, intolerant discipline, male superiority, the greed and bigotry, Evil is just evil and always a coward.
OH no more, Enough!

That's not going to happen. If you study the bible then talk to a Muslin for example you will find that the Muslim god does things that are counter to what the bible teaches.

Simply put if it was the same god then all holy books would be the same. The bible (the Word of the Christian and true God) say Jesus is the way to salvation. Islam and the Koran say something completely different. Thus they can't be the same god.

Well, first of all, Christians, Muslims and Jews all worship the same god. He is the God of Abraham. To the Hebrews he was Yahweh, to Christians God the Father, and to Muslims, Allah, but he is the same God, there is only one to all of us.
I think as far as Hindus, Native Americans, and many other religions, the concept of a Great Father, or of one God who manifests Him or Herself in many ways is also acceptable. The truth is that the more tolerant we all are of one another's ability to acknowledge God and to try and follow the path He sets out for us, the better off we ALL would be.

According to YOUR answers to another question, there is no doubt why you can't grasp God's Knowledge and understand the Holy Bible.

[Question]
Was Jesus Atheist?
He may have been trying to "break it to them gently", which may be the probable reason for his demise.... What do you guys think?

Wow, that is an interesting concept....

I think the man that was jesus was probably an amazing man and very revolutionary for his time, if 1/2 of what he said was true, he was spreading around a lot of good advice!
Jesus was a liberal afterall, and perhaps an atheist ta-boot!
Sadly I think we will never know the TRUE history of the man we call jesus.
great question though!

Source(s):
ps. just because we was raised jewish, does not mean he could not have come to his own understanding of life and the universe once he was an adult. WE DONT KNOW FOR SURE!

[End]

When you get your life in check with Jesus Christ, you might more understand the God, you claim to worship.

Good Luck.

Then he's psychotic.
They all speak of very very different Gods.

You can distill out the features of God that you like from each religion and say they're the same but that would be YOUR God, not the Hindu, Buddhist, Muslim, Jewish or Christian God.

That is not possible because that is the reason Jesus came to earth to set that straight, because people were worshiping idols, statues and anything else our free mind allows us to replace with God. As far as manifesting himself in different ways is trickery and confusing so God manifested himself as man in Jesus Christ so that we could relate and to this day many people still don't get it

While it is possible that people all believe in one "supreme being," it is humans who create religion and develop it into something he or she believes is right. Humans are flawed, therefore religion also has the opportunity to be flawed as well. Take the Christian religion for example, while it is said that the Bible was dictated to the various people who wrote it, the people who were recording it could have mis-understood what was trying to be said to them, therefore creating their own belief system.

Also, did other religions not stem from a religion before them? Christianity came from Judaism...or Taoism from Buddhism?

However, if a "supreme being" is manifesting himself in different ways, it is obviously not conveying its messages correctly, as some religions believe it if okay to strap bombs to children and send them to blow up in the middle of a market.

Almost every person in every nation in this world today worships God. Every person in these God fearing nations is looking in himself or herself to find salvation, but they will not find salvation in themsel ves. If there are three different men teaching three different doctrines, it is simple to see that all three could be wrong, but all three could NOT be right. Every one of the people in the Christion Denominations claims to follow the Holy Scriptures. They worship God, they say, because that is in the Bible. However, the same Holy Scriptures they claim to follow are the same Holy Scriptures that say--The Whole World Is Deceived!!!
