Yes, you can. one-to-one measurement ratio, as well.
However, here's something to keep in mind: crisco is hydrogenated vegetable oils. This has two effects: first, it will give your food a different texture and flavor than lard. Secoond, it means that the fats in it are those Trans Fats (or Transitive Fats) that we're discovering are worse for you than just plain old, natural saturated fats.

I would stick with the lard.

Crisco is NOT lard. However you can substitute Crisco for lard. The taste will be different which shouldn't matter, because I doubt you've ever actually eaten lard. Lard went out of fashion in cooking a long time ago because it's so bad for your health.

Yes you can. Lard is animal fat. Crisco is vegetable fat. They work the same. But, the opposite is not always a good idea. (if a recipe calls for Crisco you cannot always use lard, i.e. for cakes, cookies, pastries, and most sweet baking)

Yes, but lard imparts a taste and texture to food that cannot be completely duplicted by crisco. This is especially true in pie crusts and refried beans.

Yes. Lard is essentially obsolete as a cooking ingredient. It is hard to find these days, and rightly so, because it is far less digestible than vegetable fat, such as Crisco.
