It would not bother me at all I would encourage my child to continue their play time with that child.

Yes because my son was taught to speak English and anyone having or bringing children here should teach them English. My son should not have to learn to speak another language in his own country!

What kind of a question is that?
Do you live in the US? If you do, you should've never asked this question.
People form almost every culture, country, language, religion, race, etc. live in the US, so I would never mind at all, it is something you cannot avoid, not in this country.

It would not bother me as long as the children in question aren't talking in exclusion of my child. More often than not, people use a foreign language as a way to keep people out of a conversation. It's rude. Of course, in my neighborhood, there are a great deal of Hispanics and Bosnians. My favorite thing to do is go to a restaurant or fair and listen to the Hispanics complain in Spanish about all the Bosnians. The rest of my family doesn't speak Spanish, so usually everyone thinks I don't either........ so I just listen and learn.

If you're in the United States, learn english. It's a simple language, a common language, that incorporates many words from many other language. The 'language pride' thing is just one more way for so-called 'minorities' to walk around with a little chip on their shoulder, refusing to integrate and be civil toward their new neighbors. Don't tolerate the separatism/ethnic garbage, demand that people learn to speak english, and if they refuse, ask them to leave and go back where they came from...legal immigration in good faith, or no immigration, period...

I'm not married nor do I have children; but know that when I am a father, that would NEVER be an issue. Children are innocent and know no prejudice.

No. However, that rarely happens.
What does happen sometimes is that at back to school night some of the other parents don't speak English, and you just smile and nod and eventually give up trying to really communicate.
It is HARD to play with them when they don't speak your language and cluster with others who know theirs. It creates divisions. I do think they should learn English. Check out the economic statistics for the CHILDREN of immigrants who don't versus immigrants who do.
