if cdf = clostridium difficile, then no, you get get it through urine. clostridium difficile realeashes its toxins in stools. not in urine. it gets into beds, clothes and then, with hands can be spread fast and easily. some very restrictive cleaning habits have to be taken for that. patients are isolated in a room, people coming in the room must wear gloves and remove them after. washing hands is important too even though clostridium difficile is resistant to lots of soap and can get under your nails.
if your stool are liquid, you might have clostridium difficile. but sometimes, you are not sick but you have the bacteria (it stays at a latent state in your system) then, after beeing sick or taking antibiotics, it shows.
