I'd just like to point out that not all Christians behave in the same way and some of us do not belittle everyone else's beliefs.

Why does everyone else enjoy belittling Christianity. I don't belittle other beliefs, I just proclaim and defend what I believe. It ain't like Christians are belittling other beliefs for fun its just defense.

Your definition of belittling and the true definition of belittling may differ.
Jesus instructed the believers in Him to go into all the world and preach that he died for your sins, was buried and he rose again and that those who accept Him would have eternal life.
If the Christian doesn't follow the teachings of Christ then he must really not be a true follower.
We share with you so you will not spend eternity in Hell.
I have shared with you so you are without excuse and now it is your choice.
Have a good life.

And you are not belittling Christian beliefs with this question?
You are over generalizing. The majority of Christians are the same people you talk to everyday. Unless it comes up in convo for some reason you have no idea if they are Christian, Jewish, Agnostic, Athiest or what. Televangelists are power mongers and money whores. They'll say whatever gets them good press. Falwell, Jessie Jackson, and the rest of the power mad greedy SOBs. That is not Christianity. Nor is the fanatical book burners like the PRMC you saw in the 80s. That is just power draped in religious dogma.

OK, now if we answer honestly and from the heart what we believe and don't say anything bad about the other guy are we belittling him?

It's not Christians alone, it's all religions and their adherents
In the West we are just more exposed to Christians, and that makes them stick out more than the others.

I am Catholic and I do not belittle people beliefs.
I may not agree with them but I am not going to put someone down for what they believe.
Why are you generalizing such a large group of people?

Atheists do it, too. It's not restricted to one faith. And if you are assuming that all Christians do it, that is an incorrect inference. Some people are less tolerant than others.
