I have been both lucid and in control of my dreams in the past, and found the experiences highly exciting and even healing. If anyone knows of a successful method to deliberatly trigger these experiences please let me know.

I dont mean tripping on lsd, i mean controlling your dreams and being aware that you're dreaming while asleep. Its better than any drug

I used to have very lucid colorful dreams that I could recall when on trazadone...its a modified cyclic anti-depressant prescribed for sleeping problems mostly.

Controlled/illegal substances have been studied vis-a-vis dreams. Various psychedelics effect aspects of
serotonin metabolism. Speed keeps you from sleeping, amphetamine psychosis might be drug-induced-anxiety + REM deprivation. Newer stuff, such as illegal/controlled "smart drugs", "designer drugs"...could be dangerous, but its up yo you.

The best time is right after you wake up in the morning. Your brain is still in the right wavelength. If you fall back asleep , don't give up. Try and try again.
