i've been talking to this guy for about three months now, and well i really like him! we flirt alot but he hasnt said how he feels about me! how can i tell if he cares or if i'm just wasting my time?

If he cared anything at all about you, I feel he would have already told you how he feels. If your looking for a mr right then you already know he isn't the right one because from your question you need someone open with their emotions and this guy isn't as open as you desire. be picky and choose the right one not the well do one.

When you say "talking," do you mean in-person or on-line. If your 3-month old relationship is taking place entirely on the Internet, there is a good chance he is not have the same sorts of intense feelings that you are. We guys are wired differently when it comes to that kind of thing. If you have only spoken on the Internet, then you should consider asking him out for a real life date. This will (1) demonstrate that you are interested; and (2) give him the opportunity to step up.
If you have been having in-person talk all along and, after 3 months you cannot tell if he is "all in," then he probably isn't.

If HE(not u) makes an effort to call, come see u, wants to be seen in public w / u , then these are basic signs. Sometimes guys say they like u but dont put in ANY effort, so actions speak louder than words
PS unlike the first response, DO NOT ask this guy out, he is the"man" in this situation, and when a guy likes u, he makes it known, because he doesnt wanna risk losing u. If he is not asking u out, he doesnt wanna go out

Try casually asking him out, or asking him to an event that you both like going to...if he says yes then he likes you but is to shy to tell you...if he says he doesn't have time or has other plans he probably just wants to stay friends...Good Luck

Need more info. Flirting? Have you even been out together? Has he asked you out? Exchanged numbers? If not, he doesn't care or he's taken.
