I've had no side effects. My son took it too, he said there was one, but it's not something that women need to worry about, unless it's their partner that's taking it (impotence).

I take 75 mg per day for depression and anxiety. Side effects were fatigue and headaches, but they dissipated after about two weeks. I have been on it for about 3 years. I take a low dose, although I probably should take a higher dosage since the 75mg kind of just "takes the edge" off. But I am unwilling to up my dosage. To help manage my symptoms, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (changing your self-talk) and i was in counseling for about 2 years. Please do not take any anti-depressant without being in some kind of counseling. Medication is supposed to work in conjunction with counseling! Also, all anti-depressants will cause you to experience withdraw when/if you stop taking them. They are not be taken lightly!!

I am on 150mg now. Initially I was very very tired, but that wore off in a couple of weeks and since then I have had no other side effects. I was prescribed it for mild depression/anxiety, and find it works better on the anxiety for me personally. I did also find it helped with some other symptoms though, largely raging, I don't get angry now. Sometimes I find myself feeling a bit flat (or just feeling nothing, basically) but that isn't long-term, its a now and then response.

I was on 275 mg a day for about 8 months...I was like a zombie. Violent thoughts and dreams were a side effect, and the withdrawal was absolutely awful. I hallucinated and wound up with serotonin syndrome with effects that lasted for almost 3 years.

I take it now, and have been on it for about a year and a half. I take it for Major Depression and Generalized Anxiety Disorder w/ panic attacks. I'm also on 4 other psychotropic meds (prozac, seroquel, trazodone, and xanax) for these illnesses and for Borderline personality disorder, ptsd, and ddnos... None of my meds have caused any side effects other then dry mouth. I'm thirsty 24/7. That's it though.

I take it now...I have panic/anxiety attacks...Not too many bad side effects... makes me kind-of drowsy and dry-mouthed.. But it does help so the side effects are definately worth it...
