Ok, so I find it kinda funny that there are people out there who think that teaching your kids about God and taking them to church is child abuse???? that they need to decide for themselves when they're children and teaching them otherwise is child abuse?? wow, that means teaching your child what's right and what's wrong is abuse. teaching your child not to steal is child abuse. So teaching your child really anything that you believe is child abuse because you're focing your ways on them?? They KIDS!!!!! they need to be taught!! How is that child abuse?!

There will be scoffers in this life, that think telling the kids God gives us stewardship of is 'child abuse'. Do not listen to them on that issue. After all, Jesus's way is a superior way to man's way of thinking. By not accepting God's word for it; is what has gotten this country and its people in such a mess presently anyway. If one wants scripture from me to backup my assertions, one can email me.

Of course you'll pass your beliefs on to your children as best you can. But they'll reach a point where they'll think for themselves, and it would be wrong to force them to continue to practice things they no longer believe in. I don't see how you can call it child abuse.

For the person who said it is, are you any better for telling your kids that there's nothing out there and when we die, that's the end of everything? I don't think so.

What's wrong with teaching your kids about ALL beliefs, non-beliefs, religions, etc???? It's child abuse if you make them think that there is only one way to look at anything.

There is a difference between telling you kid not to steal, and telling them to be good or the man in the sky will torture them for all eternity. That IS mental abuse.
