I have been seeing someone for a period of time. We seem to be very compatible, and agreeable on the major topics and a wide variety of others. How long before you being to consider commitment?

There's really no set time; it will just naturally flow that way if you're both on the same page. But for sake of answering the question; within 6 months of dating you WILL know if this is someone that you want to be committed to. I believe also that when a man is truly interested in a woman he will express it in the best way possible to show his level of commitment.

Commitment, meaning you are only interested in dating him? When your heart tells you that you don't want him seeing anyone else, and you honestly have no desire to date other people. Only the two of you can decide that. Now, engagement is another thing...date at least a year before you decide this is the person you want to spend your life with. Take it slow, if he is Mr. Right, he ain't goin no where...

When you are both ready and not before then. It's the little things most people can't live with and don't notice till they have been dating for awhile. Dating is not the same as courting. Courting is only done with the intention of marriage. Dating is just trying to understand someone and get to know them.
