eat every 2 hours , ur bod needs energy. This doesnt mean a meal every two hours but a healthy snack( nuts, fruit, etc). After each Meal wait atleast 3-5 hours to let ur food digest.
If u wait too long to have breakfast thats lunch, ur body can get confuse if u do this too often

if the bowl of cereal is enough for you at 12pm, then eat a snack around 3, then dinner maybe around 6pm-6:30. if the ceral isn't filling then have a snack at 2 and another around 4.
