ALL deaths, are all a part of gods plan. now if someone could just elaborate what the "plan" is then I think that would clear up a lot of confusion. some will vindicate it by telling you your child is with god now. GREAT ANSWER!! just what I'd want to hear after my baby boy dies from some weird illness.

My Human minded child, the problem here is that you're not thinking in a spiritual term. It's not just you but most of us do that because we live in a physical world in which pain is the punishment for ignoring the material and physical needs and wants. Wants is what causes pain for most of us. For example we want a new car, brand new shoes, a boyfriend/girlfriend, money and etc. But what happens when we don't get what we want? We get disappointed, sad or even depression which means unhappiness. Now, however, the things we need are all pretty much given to us for free. Such as air, water and * food (*especially we live in the country with abundace of food supply and all you have to do is minimal work and get food) So the misery here is pretty much self inflicted. So going back to your question, we hold the material and physical value as the utmost importance in our lives but in the spiritual world physical needs are completely unnecessary. Therefore, life itself is not needed in the spiritual world. Death is the only way to completely in the realm of spiritual world. So for God death is the only way he knows how to save us from physical world. In turn, no doubt doing good deeds is the God's way. So he let his son die for us for the greatest good deed anyone can do before he takes him to the spiritual world for everlasting life in Heaven. Life is temporary and death obviously will be much much longer which means Death is probably more important than life. I like your question because deep down you want to believe and become spiritual. As Socrates said once, "An unexamined life is not worth living." Also I will leave you with a song I recently discovered: It's called "Held" by Natalie Grant,
Two months is too little.
They let him go.
They had no sudden healing.
To think that providence would
Take a child from his mother while she prays
Is appalling.
Who told us we'd be rescued?
What has changed and why should we be saved from nightmares?
We're asking why this happens
To us who have died to live?
It's unfair.
Chorus:
This is what it means to be held.
How it feels when the sacred is torn from your life
And you survive.
This is what it is to be loved.
And to know that the promise was
When everything fell we'd be held.
This hand is bitterness.
We want to taste it, let the hatred know our sorrow.
The wise hands opens slowly to lilies of the valley and tomorrow.
(Chorus)
This is what it means to be held.
How it feels when the sacred is torn from your life
And you survive.
This is what it is to be loved.
And to know that the promise was
When everything fell we'd be held.
Bridge:
If hope is born of suffering.
If this is only the beginning.
Can we not wait for one hour watching for our Savior?
Good luck,
Your spiritual friend

It would be gods will too. He saw it was going to happen when he made everything, so he is to thank. What a great god. As an atheist, I must say if there is a god, the Christians don't know him.

i have been to docs of different religions than mine. i imagine they were of the Hindu faith. I choose a Christian health practitioner because we carry an analogous values of existence. for instance, i became very uncomfortable with the Hindu health practitioner because they trust in reincarnation. So my concepts were, "per chance they are comfortable with my son demise because they imagine he will be reincarnated." An atheist might want to genuinely make an ok health practitioner in some situations because atheists favor to entice close to existence no count number what because they imagine it really is all there is. yet that may be a nasty element too. Many atheists will amputate each and every limb of their body to stay alive. an effective christian received't

I think that God did not make us stupid, he gave us people that have chosen to be doctors for a reason, and we should take advantage of that, if after everything that I can possibility do to help my child has been done and he/she stills dies, I know then it was God's will. Of course that is not going to lessen the pain any, but of course they really were not my child to begin with, they really are God's child, he just blessed me with him for a time.

Only you can know. It depends on the child's quality of life. If saving someone only to remain in a persistent vegetative state is quality of life then for some its OK.. I've made it very clear that I would not want to be kept alive under those conditions.

You must realize that what God did, no man can attempt or even do. Had God not sent His only Son, we would all go to hell. It is through Christ that we receive salvation Keep not believing...that is totally your choice...but, you are going to need the Lord...that is, if you want to go to heaven.

Your example does not speak for most Christians, any loving parent will go to any means possible to save one of their children. Why don't you think of a rational question before you waste any more points.
