There is actually a instant way to judge and it is by how he behaves with the particular girl. First notice how he is in general(Like shy, smart, lame etc).
If he's a little shy generally, if he has a crush on you, he'll act extra shy to you. Also, notice how he looks at you; if he looks deep into your eyes, then he's not having anything with u(only work with shy ones). If he really loves you, he'll act a little smart to win your love.
If he's a smart guy, its really tough to judge. But, you can judge him by how he looks. If he looks into your eyes, then he's showing the courage which means he's on to you. He will try to be as helpful he can be to you. But, he wont show symptoms in his speech and the way he interacts.

basically, if the guy likes u (and u like him too, hopefully), he'll be a bit show-offy, he may blush when u act turned-on, or if u openly flirt with him. other indicators may include, but is not limited to, seeing him nearly everywhere (no, he's not stalking u), him telling u things, if he tries to hold ur hand alot, and if he makes u feel akward at first, it's a sure indicator he likes u. a final indicator would be if he tries to tell u he likes u, alot. and if he gets u things, he's into u. biggest indicator: he askes u out.
the stacking thing happened to me alot, i was walking and talking w a girl i liked, and soon i memorzed where her classes were, and i "mapped" out a way to see her as much as possible during school, but soon i was accused of stalking, then she broke up w/ me...all four of them...but whatever.
