A guy has to be careful about pick-up lines as they most always do not work and are cheesy. However, if they are creative, it can make a girl laugh at least which might start up a conversation....

Sure, they're lame, but so is talking about the weather.
People aren't good as sincere conversation. Takes time and trust. Let people comment on the weather or give their best pickup line. They know its lame too. But they just want to talk to you, and thats a good sign, right?

1. If it's any good
2. The girl is available
3. The guy is half decent
4. You define "work" liberally
5. Alcohol is involved.

They are just common and boring, which shows that some guys just don't think about what they goin say to a girl. which is so not sexy nor attractive.
