2 Corinthians 1: 3-4 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all of our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

He cares about you...did you know that?

Good point! God always comforts me.. I'm a teenager and i get depressed very easily as most of the teenagers do. Whenever i'm upset or depressed I pray about it or read the bible. And it always comforts me.. Always...

Jeremiyah 31:13 Then maidens wil dance and be glad, young men and old as well. I will turn their mourning into gladness; I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.

2 Corinthians 7:6~13 But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus, and not only by his coming but also by the comfort you had given him. He told us about your longing for me, your deep sorrow , your ardent concern for tme, so that my joy was great than ever. Even if I caused you sorrow by my letter, i do not regret it. Though i did regret it- i see that my letter hurt you, but only for a little while- yet now i'm happy, not because you were amde srry, but because your sorrow led you to repentance. For you became sorrowful as God intended and so were not harmed in any way by us. godly sorrow brings repentance that lead to savltion and leaves no regret, but wordly sorrow brings death. See what this godly sorrow brings death. See what this godly sorrow had produced in you: what earnestiness, what eagerness to clear yourselves, what in dignation what alarm, what loning, what concern, what readiness to see justice done. At every point you have proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter. So even thought i wrote to you, it was not on aaccount of the one who did the wrong or of the injured party, but rather that before God you could see for yourselves how devoted to us you are. By all this we are encouraged Inaddition to our own encouragement, we were especially delighted to see how happy Titus was, becuase his spirit has been refreshed by all of you.

God always cares about you, he always can comfort you, if you rely on him. God always loves you. God bless you!

Whatever I feel to be true about gods, demons, and angels on pinheads, I know faith to be real--the faith itself, if not the object of that faith--for I have seen it inspire much generosity, muster courage, comfort those overcome with grief, and bring them back from the brink of despair. (Unfortunately, I've also seen it inspire much ugliness, commandeered to justify great injustices, and lead people to prize ignorance, but this response won't focus on the negative side.)

If a belief in a loving God brings you comfort, I am pleased for you. I can certainly understand how many find such an idea comforting. If this belief inspires you to comfort and care for others, then I'd say it is a positive inspiration and I'm even more pleased for you.

May your faith inspire many great acts of charity and kindness.

Exodus 11:5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his
throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.
11:6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it
any more.
11:7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how
that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.

Absolutley Yes!!!!

Eight years ago, my youngest child aged 12 died after a very tragic accident in his bedroom. He was put on a life support machine before he died for three days, and it was a very traumatic time.

When my husband and children eventually went back to work and school, although I had many friends and family around me who cared for me, there were times when I was alone in the house. I would often reach for the telephone to speak to someone to pour out my grief to. However, one day, as I was about to pick up the phone, the Lord spoke to me, and said, "Speak to me instead, and pour out your grief to me."

I did so, and that was the beginning of a time when I really knew God so so close to me. Sometimes I could not say anything, but fall on my face and cry out 'O God' but He never failed to pour out His comfort to me. I would spend hours and hours looking up verses in the Bible which brought comfort to me.

As a result of those very special times - God brought about healing from the tragic event of my son. Yes, I still mis him, and I always will while here on earth, it would be unnatural not to, but the Lord continues to bring comfort at times of special dates - his birthday, and the anniversary of his death.

God is the God of all comfort. I have proved Him to be, more than I could ever have imagined.
