some people aren't as easily affected by bad things as sensitive people are.some people get their feelings hurt more easily.but then some people,just don't get hurt that easily.why is this?

Highly sensitive people often have a more difficult time in life, but understanding this trait can make it easier for the highly sensitive person and the people around them. I would just say personality....
I might have said that it depends on how you are raised but my twin brother gets his feelings hurt more easily than I do...
I find most people act like one of their family member (I sometimes have a personality like my dad), not completely but you can see similarities...
so maybe genes have something to do with it

Just the way we're made..we're all different. Also, life toughens you up as you go along - the things that bothered me when I was 25 don't bother me as much now that I'm 35...you learn to pick your battles I suppose..

There is no medical explanation , it could be genetic or disturbance in the brain. But, all persons need some sensitively

genetics, child-raising patterns, traumatic things that have happened in someones life, etc.
