ten years ago, i thought it was a tragic and horrifying situation and felt sorry for the family. now, i still see it as tragic and horrifying; however, i don't believe this case should be supplanting serious news that affects us globally and economically. (not to mention, i don't believe the guy's story. i think he's trying to avoid being prosecuted in thailand for his 'predilections,' and would rather face an unwinnable prosecution than justice in bangkok. while i'm glad the sicko's off the streets, i abhor the fact that he's being given so much media attention instead of our women and men in the middle east. it seems no one in the boulder pd is considering a possible false confession.)

then again, i could be wrong.

I think Mr. Karr is a very strange individual. Strange-looking, and certainly strange-acting. By his own admission, he's attracted to little girls, and it's pretty clear that he was obsessed with JonBenet. What a sicko. That being said, I'm not convinced that he had anything to do with her murder. I still find it awfully coincidental that the ransom note asked for an odd amount of money ($118,000) which was exactly the amount of Mr. Ramsey's year-end bonus at his employment. The possible connection to the killer of little Polly Klaas was intriguing, but apparently nothing came of that.

I always thought a family member did it. Still do. Maybe even her brother, but not the guy that confessed. I think he was looking for a way out of Thailand, too.

I think that anyone who would do something like that to a lil girl ought to be given the death penalty. Accident or not. He was a grown man at the time, he should've known better than to try kidnapping and rapping anyone. That's just sick.

I don't think John Mark Karr killed JonBenet Ramsey. I still think her parents had something to do with it. There are too many inconsistencies in the case regarding John and Patsy Ramsey.

I think the karr guy is weird but I think its a hoax and he is one of the guys trying to admit to crime to be famous. When the smoke clears in a few days we will see we have wasted out time with him. But he still needs to be in jail, he is a child molester and anybody who gets off on kids needs to be in prison. I don't think he killed jonbenet.
