At about 1 year. They usually go into heat about every 6 months. If you're planning to spay her, do it before her first heat for the greatest benefit. If you're planning to breed, wait til at least second heat...and talk to your vet about what she will need. At the minimum...she should be current on vaccinations and be healthy. If you're not positive you want to breed her...get her spayed. I've seen far too many dogs who were never bred and never spayed with a potentially deadly infection in the utereus.

Most bitches will come into their first heat when they are about 6 or 7 months old and will do so again every six months. It is best to wait until they are at least 1 1/2 years old, preferrably two, to breed them.

A dog may get pregnant if she comes into heat at 6 months, but it would be similar to a 13 year old human child having a baby. Mentally, they are not mature enough to know what to do.

Dogs that are bred too young are usually not good mothers in any sense of the term, and may continue to be bad mothers because of the bad habits they make for themselves after their first litter. Bad habits being things like playing so rough with their puppies that they accidentally kill them, lay down on them and smother them, neglect them, or purposefully kill them.

Dogs can have their first heat at 6 months of age. It's usually, then, 6 months between each cycle. But some dogs have "split cycles" and come into heat at the 3-month mark rather than the 6-month mark.

females can start as early as 6-7 months of age and every 6 months after that. the cycles usually last for about 3 weeks. if she is young than get her spayed to take care of that worry.

depends on the dog, they can start as early as 4 months or as late as a year. Smaller breeds usually start earlier

It can vary. Small breeds tend to start around 5 to 6 months and larger breeds tend to start around 18 to 24 months.

Dogs shouldn't be breeded until they are atleast 2 years old.
