r those LCD tvs compatible to PCs as to become a monitor screen in particular those large wide screen LCD tvs?

yes, you can use your LCD screen as a computer monitor and TV. Just connect the VGA or DVI cable from computer to Monitor.

It depends if the TV and the video card in your PC are compatible.
The TV must accept one of these two connections, S-Video or DVI (Digital Video Input). Then your card must have the proper output. I have an AIW ATI x800xt video card and I can hook it to my 46" HD TV with the DVI cable. It all depends on your setup.
The answer to your question is yes it is possible.

Any TV can be hooked to your PC if u have a compatible Graphics card. All u need is an RCA connection, or if u have an HDTV, u can use HDMI for digital.

Many new LCD TVs have an SVGA connector for computer use. If you want to use your TV as a monitor, make sure it has one.

properly, i'm particular they are in the experience that they have got the right plugs for the relationship to computing gadget. I genuinely have a 40 2' Plasma television that I also use as a computing device exhibit screen. VERY cool. Gotta be careful in spite of the reality that - nevertheless pictures will burn into the exhibit screen!

i use a 32' lcd it works for cable and computers. to me its the one u need so much room to work with and downloads look real great that screen and a roadrunner and url b set to never leave home again

if you are looking to use the tv to display changing pics in your home it can be used for that if connected to a laptop or computer via USB cables. but, to use it as a monitor it will not work the way you are expecting it too. your computer is not set to the designation for the number of pixels in the tv.

yes, most of the models have a PC Input port, where you can connect it to the VGA Video out of your PC port......
