I have Jewish friends and they are just normal people. Same attitudes than anyone else. I believe all boys are circumcised during a religious ceremony right after birth. Jewish people don't celebrate Xmas or Easter and the kids don't believe in Santa. Some of them exchange presents during Hanukkah. Many of them follow the rule of only eating kosher meat but I don't think their religion forbids them from eating any food. My ex-manager and his family wore a necklace that represented a Hebrew word but I haven't met any other Jewish who wears it. The kids take Hebrew classes and the boys have a special celebration at about 12.
I once attended a jewish funeral and they requested to not have flowers, at the ceremony their priest/pastor or whatever he is called sang in hebrew and read from a book in hebrew. The whole ceremony lasted over 2 hours and we were standing up most of the time.
Jewish don't believe in hell or heaven. When you die you turn into ashes and that's death. I hope this helps...

Assuming that the Chinese woman is not Jewish, it would depend on what form of Judaism the man practices. It would be discouraged among the Orthodox and probably the Conservative I'd imagine, but there are a lot of Jews who do marry outside the faith, even if the spouse does not convert. I'm from a Jewish-Catholic household. For more information on Judaism, check the source link below.

It depends upon what you mean by "Jew" - just as there are different denominations of Christianity, there are different denominations of religious Judaism from Orthodox and Conservative, to Reform. The most conservative branches believe that Jews should only marry other Jews, and that children take the religion of the mother. More liberal branches are less restrictive, but also say that children by default take the mother's religion. "Jew" can also (more rarely) refer to the culture without the religion, and therefore there are no direct restrictions.

As far as I know their is nothing in their religion that prohibits this. There are plenty of Jewish sites on the Internet (including chat rooms). Alternatively ask another question i.e. "would any Jewish person out their mind if I dropped them an e-mail". Good Luck.

Yii23,
I would say yes. Moses married an Ethiopean lady. Those that judged him for it were punished by God for their judgement.
The Law of Moses was fulfilled by Jesus. So the whole thing is ruled by love and faith. Trusting God and loving God thorugh Christ is supposed to be the way. Who you marry is up to you. I am speaking as a Christian, though.

I think that people can marry whom ever they want regardless of culture, race, religion, color, etc. I'd try Wikipedia for the information about Jewish customs, or search Yahoo!

Chinese is a nationality. Jewish (the one you're referring to) is a religion.
They can if the Chinese woman is Jewish.
