He may have been trying to "break it to them gently", which may be the probable reason for his demise.... What do you guys think?

Just a side note here**

Jesus did not likely die for my sins, he likely died for HIS crimes of sedition against Rome.

** It doesn't say in the bible that we will be held accountable for every idle word we "type" though.

Jesus was just a man with some good ideas about people getting along together. It's his followers that deified him and twisted his life's story into the joke that is the "new testament".

STOP doing the devils work! Do you think it is funny being the devils advocate? It says in the Holy Bible that "we will be accountable of every idle word that we speak!" You are on the fast track to HELL! Are you really so hell bent? Satan is NO ONES Friend! God deserves better and so do you! Get on your knees, repent and ask Jesus into your heart, NOW, not later. Pray in Jesus's name-the devil hates that! Jesus died as the perfect sacrifice for mankind to defeat death once and for all.
Get a Bible and ask God for the Holy Spirit to come upon you and give the truth to you, for the better gloriment of God!

The whole jesus thing is likely a fairytale. There is no proof he existed or he ever accomplished anything. If you consider the bible, you have to consider those people had the education and impressionabilty equivalent of a modern day first grader. And what would one be called who doesn't believe in Jesus?

Wow, that is an interesting concept....

I think the man that was jesus was probably an amazing man and very revolutionary for his time, if 1/2 of what he said was true, he was spreading around a lot of good advice!

Jesus was a liberal afterall, and perhaps an atheist ta-boot!
Sadly I think we will never know the TRUE history of the man we call jesus.

great question though!

jesus was a phylosoph, he is been in tibet, then move to russia, and went north, and went down to s. america.

he learned from many cultures, and tried to make his own, which has not been really understood.

he is not only the son of god, what he tried to say: we are all son of god.we are all brothers...

to understand different culture, this is seen as an atheist...

i am an atheist because I dont think there is one god or one law(dogme) to regulate this bizarre world ...

Who knows? There isn't even much evidence that Jesus actually existed. There's not much we know about him at all. If I had to take a guess, I'd say he probably wasn't an atheist because some religious people decided to write about him a few decades after he supposedly died. Also, people back then tended to be religious. They had a lot of supersition back then.

Come on now, how you going to go around preaching the word of God and be an atheist? What would make you think something like that?
