According to a tipping etiquette guide: furniture or appliance deliveries - $5-10 per person. If the delivery is huge, then $20 per person.

I usually do not tip delivery personnel. However...
if the furniture is difficult to move into a location [up a crooked stairwell, through a second story window, they have to remove and reinstall door(s), etc, etc, etc],
or if you ask them to move something else [another piece of furniture],
or if you ask them to do anything special which is not considered a part of their "job"
then I would tip them.
They did something extra for you, it would be nice of you to compensate their additional efforts.
If you offer them a drink, make certain it is bottled or canned with the lid sealed, or let them get their own water from your sink tap or refrigerator door. In this day and age, people are very cautious!

Yes, a tip is customary. I don't think that there is a hard and fast rule about the amount, but I usually give $10 (all to one guy or $5 each to two guys...never had more than two guys deliver something to me).

I always tip the delivery guys if they're nice & helpful. $20 is enough for lunch or a couple of beers after work.

With the amount that's charged for delivery, I don't tip. I figure that they've already gotten paid.

I tip a $20 to each, unless they tell me they can't accept tips. Then I put the twenties back in my pocket and go out to lunch!
