According to Naruto, Haku said that a persons worth is determined by one's value to others. He did not mind about being used as a tool by Zabuza, because it gave him a purpose by having value for someone. He tried to convince Naruto to kill him after he ,"killed," Sasuke. Just after he convinced Naruto to kill him, he dodged at the last moment because he had to prove his worth to Zabuza by putting himself in front of Kakashi's attack and sacrificing himself for Zabuza.

God, what is Your purpose of Existence?

Everything that exists is an expression of God's thinking; thus, everything reflects God's thinking.
God gives life by His unique existence, and receives life when He gives life. All of existence gives life by its unique existence to that which receives life from its unique existence. This is Nature - the union of all living (eternal) things.
You are here to give life by your unique existence to that which receives life from your unique existence. So do what you love that nourishes those who love what you love.
This is the purpose of man.
