Insanity is defined by the parameters of the given society. In his society he was considered holy by some and a heretic by many, but not insane.
The biblical accounts of Jesus make him sound like a smart guy, so if he were alive today he would probably adjust his approach to fit into our definition of sanity. He'd probably be doing seminars with Tony Robbins.

That is actually the only other option.
Either Jesus and everyone who witnessed his miracles and teachings were all raving lunatics, OR Jesus is indeed the Son of God.
