How do we really know that he and a lot of others weren't complete Schizos back then? We have medications for people like that now.Could it be possible that Jesus and his followers were disillusioned into the whole thing?

Insanity is defined by the parameters of the given society. In his society he was considered holy by some and a heretic by many, but not insane.

The biblical accounts of Jesus make him sound like a smart guy, so if he were alive today he would probably adjust his approach to fit into our definition of sanity. He'd probably be doing seminars with Tony Robbins.

That is actually the only other option.

Either Jesus and everyone who witnessed his miracles and teachings were all raving lunatics, OR Jesus is indeed the Son of God.

I happen to believe the latter!

Peace!

Seriously. One good injection of haliperidol could have nipped this whole religion thing in the bud.

He spoke and performed miracles in front of thousands of people.
If Jesus was schizophrenic, none of those people would have believed in him.
