Here are three sites to try:

Auction sites to see if someone has the wine currently for sale:
www.winecommune.com

www.winebid.com

Or this site that shows if someone owns the wine and the value or what they paid:
www.cellartracker.com

If you give the specifics about the wine, I may be able to appraise the wine for you.

Vintage year
Vintner or producer or Chateau if French
Type of wine

I don't have a specific site, but the best way is to Google the name of the wine with quotations around it.

Use www.winesearcher.com -- that'll tell you the retail price of the wine

Of course if you'd posted the name and vintage of the wine you could have had an answer by now.
