I'm 24 years old and live overseas with my husband and daughter who is about to be two years old. My husband and I have been married for 2 and 1/2 years now and he is in the navy. I travelled here to be with him after he told me that he would leave me if I didn't move. I got here and ended out loving it so much that I am happy to be here for him and to see the country but we fight all the time. I'm a good wife and mother. I stay home, cook, clean, take care of our daughter and give him his space but he often puts my feelings and the things that I do aside and tells me that I only think of myself. I'm alone all day until he gets home and I have no adult interaction anymore.my husband keeps leaving and saying he's not coming back but he does. I can't take it anymore. I want to die but I can't leave my daughter.

Oh please don't say that you want to kill yourself and your daughter. Especially do not tell the doctor's that you mentioned this because they will go ahead and take your daughter away from you and I'm sure you wouldn't want to do that. I'm just wondering have you not met any of the wives there. I'm know and I'm sure you are not the only military wife there feeling the way you do. I too am a military wife and I often thought about making friends and being able to interact w/other adults. Go to a chaplain and seek help from there, you don't have to have any beliefs but just go and talk to one that is what they are there for. What you need to probably do is take family vacation together and tour the country side. I'm sure he should be allowed to put in some leave time to spend it with his family. I know it can get hard believe me I'm patiently waiting till my husband returns from Iraq next month. Just go get some help for yourself I'm also sure that there is a wives club somewhere on that base. Good Luck and I hope my words have at least helped you in some way and just to let you know that you are not the only one out there.

This may seem insensitive, but my suggestion is therapy. Couple's therapy would be useless. He keeps threatening to leave, but he always comes back. That indicates that he doesn't love you anymore, if he loved you to begin with. You need to go to therapy by yourself also if you are contemplating suicide and taking your daughter along with you. You didn't say what country you were in overseas, so I can't offer too much assistance. But the U.S. Embassy in the country you're in should be able to help you some if the U.S. Navy won't. Good luck.

dont you know you CAN divorce him with out any money? Girl STOP crying, stop talking crazy and LEAVE. You will get child support and possibly even alimoney since you do not work and have not worked for a while. This man is emotionally abusing you.
The Navy will make sure he pays. Go forward with your life.

there are lots of places that can help you i am sure,? and they are free.they can probably help you get back to your family.and also were he is in the services, they have people councilors that you can talk to,and they can help you.i am sure alot of families go threw this when they move so far away from there families.? dont hurt your child.she didnt ask for any of this, why hurt her? if you have at least one friend maybe you can tell them what is going on.and they can help? if not then make a friend,at the park, grocery store.etc.then once you become friends ask them to help you get away.

joechelle and localgirl420 both offer great advice. Whatever you do, please don't kill yourself and your daughter. It's obvious that your husband doesn't love you. Please seek whatever help you can find and get away from him as soon as you can. I also recommend you seek counseling for yourself and your daughter as soon as you are safe. Don't think that noone loves you...Jesus does and so does your daughter, and your family back home.

What you need todo is to ask God's help and put your trust in Him. You should talk to God as you father, or close friends and tell evrything about what's happening to you.. I know God is A Good listener and He knows your problems and struggles and He's only waiting for you to come or get closer unto Him... I know that God cares for all his creation and your the 1 of his creation... you just humbly yourself to God... I Know God is gracious and loving God...and He knows what is best for you... God allows this problem to occur in our life in order to test our faith...and sometimes he allow this to make it happen coz this only the way that you can remember that there is God...Remember God loves you so much!!! God Bless you always... Please read Bible this our pattern in our daily leaving...
