If you were going to open a trendy, girly chic type of store what would you name it? and what color scheme or theme would you use?

What is the target age group? I like GRRILZZ and a purple, burgandy and gold color scheme and make it a royal shopping experience.

Get out in your area and get to know your competition. Then, do the opposite. Your area doesn't need another store devoted to the "bored and blond"
Do not price your "trendy, girly chic" right out of the market. Too many small shops overprice items to make up for volume. Sure-fire way to go out of business quick. And be careful to not buy too much "handmade" look - the items which, with alitte glue and a trip to Hobby Lobby can be reproduced.
I wish you much good luck, from someone who's very disappointed in our local, faddish gift shops...

It's hard to offer a suggestion for a name with so little information to go on. But as for color, anything goes. I see a lot of the colors that were used in the seventies being used again. The bolder the better I think for this type of store.

I did just that! First you need to decide what your going to sell. What theme your going for. Than go from there. I opened a consignment shop on the river. So I needed a name to fit in with cool nautical items and such. The name of my store is "Nautical Rose" . It works. It looks to me your a Classy Curiosity Shop. (that's going with you call name) Play with some words. Toss your name in there. Good Luck! I love my shop.
