I had a cat many years ago who did the exact same thing. I didn't know if she was cleaning the deck or trying to bring me presents.
We always knew that she was kind of nervous outside. The only time she really let herself go and enjoy batting the leaves around the house was in kitchen.
Hope this helps.

Probably your cat is catching leaves! The same way they do with mice and moles. The wind moves the leaves the cat stalks the leave and catches them. Then as many house cats do they bring in what they have caught to show you. Mine do this often and they always meow when they bring it inside.
Last week it was a snake! I walked into the bathroom and there was a snake the cat brought in. By the way my cats are outside in a large enclosed yard.

At least she brought in leaves rather than a dead bird or rat. The leaves are light and when blown by the wing, it becomes some sort of chasing game for them. Use the leaf to play with your cat.

Jeff is right! It's a sign of affection. She's not just bringing you a present, but LOTS of them!
If this were my cat, I would smile and would find it hard to train her not to do this..... (In fact I wouldn't)
However, your best bet if you really hate this behavior is ignore her when she does it, get the leaf & throw it away where she can't reach it. And keep her indoors! (Which you should do anyway).

How sweet! My cats haven't brought in leaves but they do like anything that sounds crunchy, like brown paper bags or tissue paper. Maybe the leaves make crunchy noises that your kitty likes.
"Cosmic Catnip" is a good brand of catnip and my "kids" love it.
Relax and enjoy the little giftee she brings to you. She loves you and wants to share. Don't throw them away immediately, either.Do you want your gifts thrown out when you give them?
Have fun!

WHAT A PRESENT! You got a leaf!
She must love you, that is all it is.
And if you want her to stop... well the only way I can think of making her stop is to not let her outside... which is mean... so just deal with the leaves!

The cat is just bringin you a present! It's a sign of affection, don't get annoyed by this. The cat loves you, just accept the leaves

My cat does the same thing in the house with socks. I checked into it and sometimes it is meant as a gift, but it could be that your cat is in heat and is mimicking the action of carring for kittens.

Some cats love to eat green plants. I don't let my cat outside,so I feed her cat food that has green plants & vegetables, along with other things. I keep switching.
