Dude, all you're gonna get are opinions. No one's ever come back from being dead.

Yes there is life after death. Christ is the first fruits of them that slept...
Christ stated to Mary Magdalene "Touch me not for I have not yet ascended to my Father in Heaven." During Christ's 3 days in the tomb He was in the world of spirits setting up and preaching to those spirits that died without a knowledge of the gospel. What a glorious thing to know this life is not the end.

I just died yesterday and I'm waiting in line.

They have new security measures at the gates of heaven. Archangel Michael is sporting an AK-47.
St. Peter has a .45 tied to his robe.
God is under intense security.
I've yet to see any clouds loaded with beautiful virgins.

The line is very long and there is no food or water.
Please die and bring peanut butter sandwiches and milk.

The only accounts you will be able to find based on experience are those of people who have had near death experiences - ie. have been clinically 'dead', but then resuscitated. There are loads of stories on the web. Just Google 'near death experience' and you will be able to research.

I was clinically deceased for ten minutes after having a heart attack. I was in a big black room that wasn't really a room, it was like space. Then a giant, celestial cow approached me and told me to lick his giant block of salt. The celestial cow told me that my name from then on would be Buri. I wanted to get the salty taste out of my mouth, so the celestial cow told me to drink milk from its udders. We stood around for a little bit, and then I asked the celestial cow if it caught the Steelers' game last night. It didn't. So we just sort of got bored, and it said it might be better for me to go back. Good times.

How can I put this without offending you, Er, if you actually had a life before your death then you wouldn't need to ask the question.

If you don't want people's opinions, don't ask questions. No one has ever some back from the dead with a real answer. You'll find out soon enough for yourself.
