The Christian source is witnesses, Prophets have recorded and stated their experiences in interacting with God, and we believe they are a credible source, and there are multiple testimonies stating the same things. For what it's worth, that kind of proof stands up in a court of law.

Best Wishes

The fact that the bible traces the dawn of the universe to be about 6000 years ago (or something similar), which has been so roundly disproved by carbon dating and other dating procedures. Christian's only defence is that of 'belief', which is totally unfounded in logic, and so difficult to defeat. The existance of evil is also difficult. If God is all powerful, all loving and all knowing, then he should have been able to forsee the fall of man, and all subsequent evil. The fact that evil exists in such huge amounts either points to an evil god, or no god at all, a view that I find easy to belive.
Christians also tend to argue that scientists are not able to explain the birth of the universe, but this is not true, but the fact of the matter is that most people's intellects (including mine) cannot comprehend such things.

I am a mix of faiths. I really don't think christians are nicer. I have had too many encounters with christians in my town where they won't let you leave until you hear them out. In fact just before summer came, I had a really bad experience with a bunch of my friends. We went to a friends church (this thing we went to was just supposed to be a fun night, no churchy stuff). And we were having a great time til about 9pm. Then they got in with soving their religion down my throat. I had to go out and get some air. Then they follow me. They also told my non church going friend that she was going to hell because she wasn't baptised. Even though we both believe in god. Also we were both going to hell because we don't go to church. I had a full out battle for like an hour. They made my friend cry and I think I made that women cry, I don't know? She left.

Anyways I believe in god, but not the type of god most people think of. God is not a guy or a girl. God is both, God has both female and male aspects. And can split and become 2 different people at the same time. I also believe in spirit guides. In fact mine is an asian looking women. She is very helpful on my day to day life. She has never been wrong with future stuff either. Or how long till I get this or until I feel welll agian.

My god also doesn't send people to hell. In fact I don't believe in hell. My god doesn't care, if you came and accomplished or at least attempted what you set out to do here in the first place then , you are welcome. But even if you don't god will welcome you with open arms. But evil spirits, and they are not always evil, they can become good again are trapped in the middle between the spirit world where god is and where earth is. They aren't trapped there forever either. Just until they realize god loves them and then they can come home.

My source is from my history. My mother has never believed in god, but a higher power. She has always practiced wicca. I was raised to think outside the box. My mother has also always been a believer in Sylivia Browne. That is where a majority of my info and beliefs come from. But also from all the things I have been through in my life.

18 yrs old i was depressed and on drugs and I wrapped my 1995 GSXR750 around a telephone pole at 130mph. I walked away from it for the most point. At that point in my life i wanted to die by he did not take me when he had the chance. It didn't change my life right away in fact i was still depressed however it did change my life cause I new my life was spared for something more... 10 years later I'm a successful designer making good money married with a beautiful 5year old boy and one on the way. I have a lot to live for and feel i owe it all to god, because he didn't loose faith in me.

I want to say that the most distinguished form of math proves the big bang theory.

Quantum physics states that the world is expanding exponentially. If that is the case then if you reversed time then it would decrease exponentially and at some point would come to a beginning. Who or what was there to get the ball rolling...

The bible also states that Science would prove religion...

I think Christians are kinder because Christ taught to "Do unto others as you would have them do onto you." The prospects of the afterlife motivates Christians to live a good life on Earth. Atheists however, believe in no afterlife, so they feel they can be jackasses to anyone.
As far as why there is a God, the conditions for life to exists are quite remote. As far as we know, we are the only planet with anything living on it. If you want to say that life was created by a bunch of chemicals coming together, that's fine, but I believe there was a grea tforce behind it, that force being God

im an athiest, but im not mean... im actually really nice... i dont make fun of christians because thats what they believe in... my sources why i dont believe in god, is because you know how christians say how god loves everyone just as equally, and how everyone IS equal? well, that is SO not true... and he wouldnt let everyone suffer for the sake of other things if that was true, and there are many things that make sense that theres not god, and science explains a lot of how everything started... plus, nobody has proof today that christ lived, and that god is real, there's just the bible, and anybody long long ago could have just made those things up... and i grew up mormon, and my dad still makes me go, but things just dont seem like its really reasonable anymore, so i just ignore it and sleep... lol... but yea...

Without the Bible, Christians are nothing. You're lost - like sheep without a shepherd.

Without the Bible, we atheists are still atheists, and as nice than ever.

This is how christians argue their point:

ARGUMENT FROM ASSUMPTION
(1) God exists.
(2) Therefore, God exists.

Which is why I won't be providing evidence that disproves God. I simply won't bother, seeing as you wouldn't understand it anyway.

i think it's nice that you think that christians r nicer than atheists, but atheists can be nice too. all the prophecies in the bible are coming true. i have lost faith in God once and i even thot about becoming an atheist... but then my mother told me that God does exist and that people just want me to be decieved... i brought back my faith in God, he didn't let me down... he showed his love for me through my mother.

what if you are neither a christian nor an athiest?

problem is with spiritual matters can't really provide sources because we each have to work out our spiritual lives on our own.
