I think it's pretty funny that there is such horrible spelling on here, considering that there is a spell-check option. Be it lack of education or laziness, it's too funny. My favorite was a girl who was asking a question about her boyfriend's "deck". Considering it was a question about oral sex, I don't think she was talking about patios.

I don't know why people are doing it. They could use the spelling check if they are not sure. And the irony of it is, a couple of days back answering a similar question, some one said that they get A+ in their schools and graduation writing as such.

I was thinking of posting something almost exactly like this. It takes, what, 1/32 of a calorie to type two letters? Write YOU instead of U.
I would like to think that it is just a bunch of 13 year olds that are into this 'LEET', text message thing but I've graded college level essays and it doesn't get any better. We're just working our way towards Newspeak.

I can't think of a specific instance, but there have been some q & a's that I just skip because its like they are speaking in another language. I just posted a similar question and I'm getting reamed because I'm condescending, I made a typo, and I spelled grammar as grammer. Oops...but at least you can get my point.

This is one of the first questions I read when I signed up for Yahoo! Answers. I could not make sense of this question. I laughed harder with each update this person made to her question. Not only is the spelling terrible, but the grammar is atrocious.

i have seen 'the' spelled as 'hte'. i have seen simple words like feline and canine get mixed up and spelled wrong. but sometimes its because people write exactly the same way they talk. i do it to sometimes when im in a hurry. i dont really care as long as its understandable. but i still spell correctly.

well if you want to be that way...your sentence structure is not really correct either !!!
You could replace (here) with the actual name of what you are referring to
you need a subject for your sentence..
